Club volleyball season for the Kid has officially begun! Kid had her 1st tournament of the season on Saturday…it was a L-O-N-G day! After 3 pool play matches of 3 games each the girls ended up in the #4 spot in bracket play. The girls continued to play together as a team and ended up winning the championship match after playing another 2 matches!
Kid decided to change her position this year and instead of playing as both an outside hitter AND a DS she has opted to fight for a Libero/DS spot on the team. Actually, it’s what she had wanted during the high school season as well but ended up playing all around instead. It was a little weird to NOT see her hit like she has been for the past six years but she enjoys it and that’s all that really matters!
It’s going to be an interesting season! She had a GREAT practice tonight and I’m excited to see her grow as a volleyball player!
Ahhh, to be young again
I played volleyball with my church for a few season’s, loved it! Now, I’m terrified of the ball hitting my face, LOL I’m such a chicken!
