PTI Make it Monday #59 – Happy Address Labels

This week on Nichole Heady’s blog the Make it Monday tutorial is all about using your computer to customize sentiments on your die cuts.  When I first saw it I was totally ECSTATIC!  For those that know me…I LOVE paper crafting with my computer!  Add Papertrey Ink’s fabulous stamps + inks + coordinating paper and you’d think this challenge would be EASY for me.  Well…the MIM video was posted on…Monday and it’s now Thursday!  YIKES!  I’ve been trying to find a way to be “different”.  SO…instead of creating a die cut, computer generated sentiment I came up with this….

Happy Address Labels - PTI Make it Monday #59

I used Avery 4×6 shipping labels (5292) and created the text/address in Photoshop, 2 per sheet.  After printing them on my laser printer I stamped one of the images from the Happy Day stamp set in various perfect match colors.  Using a “template” to figure out where to place the die and painters tape to hold it in place, I ran it through Jorge (my Vagabond) and voila…happy foldover address labels in various colors to match the pretty cards in the envelope!

I LOVE how they came out and am off to create address labels to go with the birthday cards + tags ensemble I made my mom last week!  I can’t wait to see what everyone came up with!
